Cancellation of 2020 Hannover Messe due to COVID-19

The 2020 Hannover Messe exhibition has been cancelled for the first time in nearly 80 years due to health and safety reasons stemming from COVID-19. In early March, it was announced that the exhibition would be delayed to 13-17 of July 2020.

Although we at British Pneumatics were eager to attend Hannover Messe this year, we trust in the organiser’s (and any relevant government authorities’) decision to cancel the exhibition this year. Public safety and slowing down the spread of COVID is of paramount importance to everybody. The outright cancellation also offers some welcome certainty to both exhibitors and attendees, many of whom were anxious about whether Messe would be able to proceed in July due to public health concerns.

The dates for the next Hannover Messe fair is 12-16 April 2021. Hopefully, we will see you all next year at Hannover Messe 2021.
